[News Release] Prostemics develops medical device for hair loss Strategic alliance with Japanese distributor
To develop the prototype within this year… also launch portable device

Prostemics, Korean bio company, announced that they are going to develop medical device for hair loss on January 11, 2017.
Prostemics signed MOU with M company, Japan’s medical device distributor and they will collaborate in Japanese marketing within this year.
Prostemics has been exporting hospital cosmetics with source of stem cell conditioned medium to Japanese hospitals since 2009. Also, Prostemics has been attempting at developing the device to improve the hair loss and skin penetration of their cosmetics. They recently completed the patent application.
With the development of the device, Prostemics is planning to expand business into China and USA from Japan.
Also, Prostemics plans to develop prototype medical device for hair loss this year. This product expects to be commercialized as early as 2018.
Prostemics said “The special point is that our medical device is the new type of convergence laser device unlike conventional one” and “The device works synergistically, not only increase the skin penetration of conditioned medium on scalp but also promote hair growth by itself.
Prostemics is also developing the portable device for hair loss, and this will be launched within 2017.
