Prostemics (KOSDAQ 203690, CEO Lee Won Jong) develops ‘anti hair loss treatment spray using plasma anion technology’ with a Japanese medical distributor.
The company announced that it made a joint development contract for the ‘hair loss treatment spray using plasma technology’ with Metras on June 5.
Metras will sell the product in Japan after the completion of development, and the Korean government will sponsor 500 million won for 2 years.
An internal person of the company said, “Using this device with our existing AAPE hair product (stem cell based hair care product), people will enjoy effective hair treatment at home like treatment in hospital
Aside from this, Prostemics will launch a plasma beauty device in August, and is also preparing a personal plasma medical device.
The company plans to expand the current business focus from the hospitals with new technology products including AAPE and the new devices to the bigger home care market and launch such products in Japan and China.
