Supplies 5 items of prebiotics biocosmetics to TESCO in Southeast Asia

Prostemics (KOSDAQ 203690) announced that it contracted to supply cosmetics to a global retail chain, TESCO for its Southeast Asian region including Thailand on September 29.
Under this contact, Prostemics will supply 5 cosmetic products - including cleanser, serum, and water bomb - of self-developed prebiotics brand, “nada”, to 50 megastores of TESCO Thailand. The company will expand its supply to 1,700 stores including “TESCO Express”, the supermarket chain, in Thailand.
“nada” is a new biocosmetic improving skin by prebiotics technology. The brand was launched in Korea in April 2017, and has become very popular in 10-20 age groups, so much that it has topped in wash-off pack category of online shopping in Naver, the No. 1 portal in Korea.
The revenue from this contract will come since the end of this year and the company is discussing the supply to Malaysia, too.
An internal person of company said “’nada’ brand has a unique concept. In less than a year, it is receiving a lot of love calls from overseas including America, Vietnam, etc. Prostemics expects a big sales increase because TESCO Thailand is one of the top 3 cosmetic distribution channels in Thailand and Korean cosmetics are very popular in the Thailand.”
